As you all know two weeks ago I had the pleasure of attending Harriett Lake’s: Park Avenue Fashion Week! for those of you who are not familiar, it is a week-long event filled with lavish parties and of course gorgeous runway shows. So when I got asked to cover on Saturday for the emerging designer show I was beyond excited.
I was asked to check in at 4:30 pm but we weren’t allowed in until 5:00 pm. Since the hubby and I are always early for everything, we had some time to kill so we took some shots. It was actually a really chilly day that Saturday, I decided to still look dressy I decided on a great dress I bought earlier form my favorite store Guess. I paired the dress with a cozy leather jacket and finished the look with silver heels and of course a vampy lip :).
When we finally got let inside it was so gorgeous. The amount of detail put into this event was truly breath taking. Before I found my seat I decided to take a look around at all the amazing vendors that were there. There was so much delicious food available to purchase, the enticing aroma filled the air making me hungry and excited to try everything! Once seated I quickly began chatting with fellow blogger. I had so much fun chatting it up that it totally set the tone for the fun-filled night ahead.
Now it’s Show Time!
Something amazing about this show is that it’s created by one of the biggest philanthropists in Central Florida, Harriet Lake. The Night started off with a great dance performance by the group Rukus, which paved the way to the main show. The runway show was filled with a little bit of everything: from gorgeous gowns to eccentric pieces. There was something on that runway for everyone. I loved the fact that many boutiques on Park Avenue presented their new collections on the runway. Some of my favorites were Tuni And Charylie, which are two boutiques that I love shopping at. Not only were there top fashions, but also local celebrity radio show hosts like Obie and Little Shawn from 95.3FM Morning Show, as well as Laura Diaz from XL 106.7 FM. The whole night was really fun, I enjoyed meeting so many great people that night, and I’m very honored to have been invited to one of the best fashion events in Central Florida. I would like to give a big thank you to Shel Marks PR for giving me this opportunity. I’ll see you next year 😉

Until next time friends,
